Silhouette SD finally arrived/Attempting to be vintage
I finally received my silhouette this week after waiting 1 MONTH! for it!
i was a little disappointed that there wasnt more protection like bubble wrap between the boxes considering it was an international shipment, but owell, i took it out and it was fine. :D
This is everything that came in the box..
so i couldn't wait to get started but i had to go down to bunnings and get a power converter as i got it internationally .... i finally got home and decided i wanted to do a little test so i typed in happy birthday to you...
without realizing i typed happy birthyday to you :(
must have been too excited, anyway, i figured there is no point wasting good die cuts so i made this card.... :D
its my first attempt at a vintage style card, i dont think i did too bad considering!

the flower is a little big, but i was just using what i had, the lacing thing is from the silhouette store, pretty cool! ...
i made this card with distress inks, glimmer mist, cardstock, green/white pearls, sticker/embellishments, pearls, flower etc :P
p.s i bought helmar fabric glue today, its pretty awesome!..... good for bondin most stuff.... i used it tonight for a heavy cardstock and it worked amazingly :D
Party Favours
So for my birthday i decided to make my guests some party bags!....

Martha Stewart Score Board!!!
Happy Birthday to me!
So it was my birthday on wednesday and Lucky me got spoilt, i wont bore you with the details of everything i got, but today i got my score board! My sweet bf ordered one for me off ebay hahaha!
So here it is, i love it already, its going to make life so much easier :P
I have wanted to make one of those fan flowers for a while and what better reason to make one now that i have a score board. I've seen a few tutorials here and there but for this i just did what i could remember. (its pretty simple).
Here's what i did:
In normal circumstances i would measure the piece of paper but this is just a mock up so i just grabbed a random scrap piece. I scored the paper at every second line and then fan folded it.
As i was trying to fold the flower down ^^^ i realized my piece of paper was too wide so i cut it in half first ( yay two out of one ). You kind of have to push it down and hold it, then i got a circle piece of paper hot glued it and then stuck the fan to it so it stays together.
End Result:
I added little pearls for more interest, i think ill be more creative next time.

You need to then grab each end and glue then together, so they fit nicely together. One end must have a valley and one must have a mountain, i dont have a whole lot of images for this part as i was trying to work it out as i went and i failed to do this part lol.

Baby Boy#2
My Boyfriend suggested i make a card with more blue in it so i used the same idea but with more blue (again i need a white pen)
Baby Shower Card
Hey Guys!, this is my first post so i thought the best thing to post with would be something i made today, my cousin is due to give birth soon to her first child and i went to her baby shower today!...
I made her this card.
To make the card i cut out cream card-stock and scored to make the fole, ( 23cm x 15; score at 11.5 ), i stamped the kaiser craft elephant on the cream card-stock and also on the pitter patter making memories paper using black versa mark ink. I cut out the elephant on the pitter patter paper and used foam dots to raise the elephant. I then added the layered ribbons underneath the elephant and and stamped congratulations on the top right hand side. i used a white pen to draw the water splashes above his trunk ( i need a blue pen ) i then decided to cut out his ear with cream card stock, and bobs your uncle a baby shower card. Its pretty simple and easy to make!
